Judit Vitai
Director of trainings, training coordinator, VET project manager
Judit Vitai graduated as a teacher of English and for decades she taught all ages, including children, to whom she introduced the English language at an early age and worked with them until they got their language exam at the age of 14-16.
Judit was responsible for all aspects of language teaching on my own for 17 years: she managed a regional private language school, where she was a freelance trainer, director of training, training coordinator, responsible for our wide variety of company contacts in Hungary. Later on, she moved to Budapest and had other positions but has never stopped teaching. Judit has also been involved in exam preparation for decades.
As education and international relations have always been core issues for her, she has had these experiences, too:
Presently she is an Area Coordinator at Oxford University Press Hungary and manages all OUP-related affairs in Hungary with full responsibility.
She worked for Duplitec Ltd. (one of the biggest drone distributors in Hungary) as a training business unit manager for one and a half years; she was fully responsible for the training strategy, the delivery and monitoring tasks of our training courses, including ministry accreditations, adapting the manufacturers’ training material as well as the development of our staff.
Earlier she worked for IKK Innovatív Képzéstámogató Központ Zrt. (the body responsible for Vocational Education and Training in Hungary) as a VET project manager; she had horizontal responsibility for the Hungarian GINOP-6.2.5-VEKOP-19 project (Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme; https://ikk.hu/files/projects/ginop_625_alapadatok.pdf ). She was in charge of planning, organizing, managing all the project related activities of the consortium, including but not limited to pilot training sessions, professional monitoring, documentation and reporting, risk management, cooperation with experts and partners, quality assurance, dissemination, and the quality and timely progress.
From 2014, continuously, she has been assessing Erasmus+ Mobility and Strategic Partnership projects in the Adult Education and Vocation Education and Training fields for Tempus Public Foundation, the Erasmus+ National Agency in Hungary.
From 2007 to 2014, she managed European projects that concentrated on innovative training material. In doing so, she was fully and solely responsible for their work, including planning, organizing, monitoring, reporting on the Hungarian project activities, managing the budget, dissemination and valorization. Their dissemination included planning and organizing conferences, and also dissemination via online channels and social media. Moreover, she organized programs for foreign professional teams coming to Hungary with specific learning needs.
She has been working in training for 28 years; she feels confident with travels, she uses English for work fluently, she is used to national and international presentations, organizing training on her own, developing and adapting training, HR and other programs. She was superior to a team for 15 years and feel proud to stay agreeable with my colleagues – and ex-colleagues - all these years.
Her pastimes are reading, psychology, sports, languages, classical music, and so on. She is learning European Portuguese.
She attaches a reference from the Maltese National Agency for a three-day session she planned and delivered in 2018. Actually, she delivered a similar one in Malta in 2019, too.
