This course supports teachers in embedding sustainability across VET subjects. Participants will co-create lesson plans, develop materials, and exchange best practices for preparing students to work in environmentally responsible industries.
Description:
Greening VET is about more than adding a module – it requires rethinking curricula to make sustainability a cross-cutting theme. In this course, teachers learn how to adapt their subject content, design interdisciplinary projects, and align their training with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Practical workshops will allow participants to draft eco-friendly teaching activities and assessment tools.
Aims and objectives:
– Embed sustainability into existing VET curricula across subjects
– Share European best practices and green teaching resources
– Develop classroom projects and materials promoting environmental awareness
– Equip students with skills for responsible citizenship and green employment

Learning outcomes:
- Revise and adapt curricula with sustainability focus
- Create classroom projects addressing environmental challenges
- Use innovative teaching methods to foster eco-competences
- Strengthen institutional strategies for sustainable development in VET
