HIGHLIGHTS
In this course participants will get hands-on practice in all the different ways their classroom practices might be anhanced with the use of AI. lesson planning, materials design, classroom managament, project planning – even the design of interactive applications (without the need to ever write a line of code).
Description:
The course will provide a comprehensive overview of all the areas AI might be of use to pedagogues. Beyond the streamlining of everyday Ai use in their professional lives, participants will be introduced to a more complex approach to integrate AI into their everyday classroom practices.
Main areas of the course: AI license – who and how can use AI, what are the necessary skills and how to build these in our students?
A conceptual framework of AI use and how to operationalize it in the classroom?
100 ideas to integrate Ai into your classes – from preparation, through course and materials design, to classroom management.
Design you own educational applications – in this part of the course participants will learn how to design stand-alone interactive applications – from simple animated explanations to complex game-based simulations.
Aims and Objectives
The aim of the course is to equip participants with practical skills to meaningfully integrate artificial intelligence into everyday teaching and learning processes. By the end of the course, participants will be able to design AI-supported lessons, materials and classroom activities, apply ethical and pedagogically sound AI use, and create simple interactive educational applications without coding.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, teachers will:
- Participants will understand how to meaningfully integrate AI into all levels of their pedagogical work.
- Participants will understand the process of materials design with AI and will be able to create materials best suited to their needs.
- Participants will understand and be able to implement a conceptual framework for the systematic introduction of AI into the classroom.
- Participants will try and evaluate hundreds of AI ideas for the classroom to be able to assert what best helps their students.
- Participants will be able to create application tailored to their specific educational context and use vibe-coding.
