Artificial Intelligence is transforming the way teachers plan, teach and assess.
This hands-on course introduces the most useful AI tools for education and shows participants how to integrate them safely and effectively into everyday classroom practice. No technical background is needed — the focus is on simple, practical strategies teachers can use immediately.
Participants will explore AI-supported lesson planning, differentiation, feedback, project work and digital literacy, and will create materials directly applicable in their own teaching.
Aims and Objectives
Teachers will:
- understand the opportunities and limitations of AI in schools;
- learn practical AI tools for lesson planning, assessment and student engagement;
- design AI-supported activities for different subjects and age groups;
- develop strategies for safe and ethical AI use.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, teachers will:
- create AI-enhanced lesson plans;
- build a personal toolkit of AI resources;
- develop clear guidelines for safe classroom use;
- strengthen digital literacy and critical thinking skills.

Target groups: Teachers of Grades 6–12, school digital coordinators, educators interested in future-focused teaching.

Planned program
Day 1: Sunday: Arrival, introduction of the course and the location, introduction of the participants
Registration during the day
14.30 – 15.00: Familiarisation with the site, health and safety briefing
15.00 – 17.30: Introduction of the course and trainer, introduction of the participants – 5 minutes for each participant to introduce themselves and their institution and the objectives they wish to achieve by completing the course
18.00 – 19.30: Informal get-together with the course participants over dinner.

- Introduction to AI & 21st-century literacies
Day 3: Tuesday
- AI for teachers – lesson planning, differentiation, feedback
Day 4: Wednesday
- AI for students – creativity, projects and problem-solving
Day 5: Thursday
- Digital literacy – evaluating AI content, misinformation
Day 6. Friday
- Designing AI-supported lessons
Day 7: Saturday: End of the course – cultural programme
8.30 – 10.00: What did I learn this week? Preparing for dissemination – 5 minute presentation from each participant
